How this estimate works

Uniform pitch over a rectangular footprint. Area = (length + 2 × overhang) × (width + 2 × overhang) × √(1 + (pitch ÷ 12)²). Roof squares are 100 FT². Package coverage starts at 33.333 FT²; use the manufacturer’s stated coverage. Complex roofs, openings, flashing, and ridges need separate measurement.
